2020 Ford Explorer in Orlando, FL
The Ford Explorer has been America’s premier SUV since it debuted in 1990, and it’s only getting better with age. The all-new 2020 Ford Explorer promises to be not just the best Explorer ever put to the road, but also the most exciting and most powerful.
New Design
The all-new 2020 Ford Explorer was built to catch your eye. A bold look with sweeping, dynamic lines is complemented by the standard LED headlamps. Inside, the interior is roomy enough to provide space for all your passengers and their cargo. The available PowerFold ® third-row seats makes folding the rear row flat to make room for more cargo a cinch — up to 87 cubic feet of space, in fact.
New Engines
The 2.3-liter EcoBoost® is now the standard option for the Explorer, offering 300 horsepower standard and up to 5,300 pounds of towing capability with the Class III Trailer Tow Package. The 2020 Explorer boasts two variants of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost® V6 — a 365-horsepower version offered with the Explorer Platinum and a 400-horsepower version exclusive to the high-performance Explorer ST. Both versions of the 3.0-liter EcoBoost® deliver up to 5,600 pounds of max towing potential.
New Trims
The new 2020 Ford Explorer lineup includes the first-ever Explorer ST and the Explorer Limited Hybrid. The latter is the most powerful performance SUV Ford has ever built, cranking out 400 horsepower and leveraging Intelligent 4WD with Terrain Management Systemâ„¢ for go-anywhere ability. The Explorer Limited Hybrid offers plenty of power and capability as well as an EPA-estimated range of over 500 miles on a single tank of fuel and up to 29 mpg on the highway.*
New Safety Tech
The Ford Explorer is designed to accommodate the modern family, and part of what goes into that is making the latest safety tech available on every vehicle. The 2020 Ford Explorer offers Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ technology, a full suite of driver-assist features aimed at providing peace of mind. Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ includes Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, which includes Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Dynamic Brake Support; Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert; and Lane-Keeping System. The Explorer also offers Evasive Steering Assist and class-exclusive Active Park Assist 2.0, making it a safer choice for all sorts of driving situations.
